Holiday Parking Reminders
Posted on Nov 23, 2019 9:00 AM by Safety / NHW
As you prepare to congregate with friends and family over the holidays, here are a few friendly reminders on parking to keep you in your neighbors' (and the HOAs!) good graces.
  • Driveway First:  Neighbors are encouraged to have guests park in their driveway.
  • Contact Neighbors:  If you know that the number of cars will exceed the space in your driveway, contact your neighbors and let them know that some cars might be parked on the street.
  • Keep Traffic Flow:  If your guests must park on the street, coordinate with your neighbors so that cars aren't parked on both sides of the street or otherwise impeding traffic. Also be sure to get permission from the board first!
  • And finally...if you find yourself unable to leave your own driveway or have difficulty driving down the road because a neighbor failed to follow these helpful tips, contact the HOA board.
