We’re all feeling a little stir crazy after over a month of #StayHome. One group of creative homeowners on “middle Jamerson” banded together to find ways to stay in shape and socialize while socially distancing. You might have driven by on a MWF @ 5pm to see them working out in their driveways with Stonewall Manor homeowner and personal trainer AJ Mastin, who has been keeping everyone in shape with $5 sessions. (Stop by during these days and times and catch AJ for more info).
Or maybe you saw them last weekend on their sidewalks, cooking out and partying all at a distance of six feet from their neighbors. Great job setting an example for us all!

We’ve been inspired by this group’s creativity so be on the lookout for details on a community-wide “socially distanced block party” from your driveway soon.

It's that time of year! Don't forget to check your dues notice and make payment on time - late fees apply February 1.
We’re excited to enter a new year and move our community forward. THE HOA DUES FOR 2020 WILL REMAIN AT $568.00. PAYMENT IS DUE ON JANUARY 31, 2020. A payment schedule may be arranged if you contact the HOA Board of Directors at hoaboard@stonewallmanorhoa.com prior to January 19, 2020. Late fees will be applied on February 1, 2020.
The dues are assessed to fund the necessary expenses incurred to maintain our community and increase the value of our homes. All homeowners were sent an invoice via both USPS and email earlier this week.
PLEASE REMIT PAYMENT VIA ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS:
Online - Check your email for invoice notification and submit payment - you can also login to your account to make payment
Mail - Mail check payable to Stonewall Manor HOA to 4363 Bellwood Circle, Atlanta, GA 30349 (check must be received by February 1 to avoid late fees)
Hand delivery - Come by the clubhouse during pre-scheduled Clubhouse Hours in the month of January to leave your check with a Board member (check the calendar for dates and times)
REMINDER - Please join us at our Annual Meeting on January 19, 2020 at 3pm in the Clubhouse as we plan to build on this momentum, discuss new projects and vote on important community issues.

Kwanzaa is an annual celebration of African heritage that is celebrated for a full week by many African-Americans living in the U.S. and abroad. The holiday was the first to ever celebrate Black history and is named after the Swahili phrase that describes the first fruits gathered during the harvest season.
Kwanzaa celebrations vary from family to family. Some families stick with strictly Kwanzaa related practices, while other families mix elements of Kwanzaa into their Christmas celebrations. However, most Kwanzaa celebrations are based on Nguzo Saba – or the seven principles of Kwanzaa.
The Seven Principles
- Umoja (Unity): Striving for and maintaining unity in the family and the community
- Kujichagulia (Self-Determination): Defining oneself and speaking for oneself
- Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility): Building and maintaining a community and making our brother’s and sister’s problems our own and solve them together
- Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics): Building and maintaining our businesses for ourselves and each other
- Nia (Purpose): To build and develop our collective communities together
- Kuumba (Creativity): To do whatever we can to leave our communities more beautiful than when we inherited them
- Imani (Faith): To believe with our hearts in our people, our families and the righteousness of our struggle
Whether your family has celebrated Kwanzaa for years, or you are new to the celebration, we wish you and yours a very happy Kwanzaa!
