Social
The Social Committee's purpose is to facilitate interaction among SWM homeowners through a variety of planned social events designed to appeal to a wide cross section of the SWM residents. The intended result is improved neighborhood camaraderie, fellowship and sense of community. Under the guidance of the Chair, the committee will do the following:
- Identify areas of "need" for new social events (i.e., ensures that events are planned to include singles, families, children, seniors, ethnic backgrounds, etc.)
- Develop a list of proposed social events for the upcoming calendar year, including a proposed schedule and budget, and submits a written proposal to the BOD.
- Promote interest in all social events and coordinate to insure each planned event is properly supported with enough volunteers.
- Organize and facilitate all event planning, as necessary.
