General, Important Announcements
Good news! Superintendent Looney has agreed to meet with our community and listen to our concerns regarding the proposed redistricting to Langston Hughes. We need AT LEAST 30 Homeowners to attend this meeting to support our communities efforts to keep our children in there current schools. We have a group that's been working on this for weeks now, and they have the info to present to Dr. Looney. We need our homeowners to show that we care about this issue.
The meeting is tentatively scheduled for tomorrow, November 17 @ 11:45 am at the clubhouse but could move slightly based on his schedule. If you can attend please respond to this email so that we can confirm the final time to those interested.
See you tomorrow.

Improvements in Stonewall Manor
We've had vendors hard at work in the neighborhood this year making some long overdue improvements to the community.
Swimming Pool
If you visit the pool this summer you might notice that it looks a little different. It has needed some TLC for a few years now and we finally had the resources to get this taken care of. Earlier this year the pool was completely drained and re-surfaced. We also replaced the old tile border to give it a more modern look. You'll have a chance to enjoy the new pool when we re-open on May 31.

Entrance Signage
The Union Road entrance now has one sign that mirrors the look and feel of the two signs at the Stonewall Tell entrance. We've also replaced the crumbling name plate in one Stonewall Tell sign, and will soon be replacing the other sign as well.

Round-about improvements
Be on the lookout for some exciting improvements to our roundabouts. We've heard from many of you on this and are looking at ways to make our shared spaces more inviting. Stay tuned!
Entrance Landscaping
You probably noticed the new flower beds at both entrances - we'll also be installing new sod as things warm up this summer.

We’re all feeling a little stir crazy after over a month of #StayHome. One group of creative homeowners on “middle Jamerson” banded together to find ways to stay in shape and socialize while socially distancing. You might have driven by on a MWF @ 5pm to see them working out in their driveways with Stonewall Manor homeowner and personal trainer AJ Mastin, who has been keeping everyone in shape with $5 sessions. (Stop by during these days and times and catch AJ for more info).
Or maybe you saw them last weekend on their sidewalks, cooking out and partying all at a distance of six feet from their neighbors. Great job setting an example for us all!

We’ve been inspired by this group’s creativity so be on the lookout for details on a community-wide “socially distanced block party” from your driveway soon.
